Job Description:

Overview: TVS Mobility Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Head to lead our sales operations in Indore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, strategic planning, and team leadership within the commercial vehicle industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
    • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with senior management to set sales goals and forecasts.
  2. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
    • Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and set individual and team objectives.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealerships, and business partners.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective account management and service excellence.
    • Address customer issues and resolve conflicts to maintain positive client relationships.
  4. Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee daily sales operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
    • Manage sales budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  5. Market Expansion:
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share and revenue.
    • Explore new segments and regions within Kerala/ Indore for potential growth.
    • Coordinate with marketing and product teams to launch new products and promotions.
  6. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
    • Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and sales strategy optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales management in the heavy commercial vehicle industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Indore Market and a strong network within the industry.
