About the Role:
Responsible for building Constellation Brands business with the trade, developing distributor relationships within the specified marketplace and providing leadership to the Field Sales Managers in the region to deliver on company's sales objectives and goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
What we are looking at:
Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within the liquor industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and managing successful sales teams across diverse regions.
Strong understanding of the Indian liquor industry, market dynamics, and consumer preferences on a national level.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively within the country as required.
Job Description:
Organization is a leading company in the liquor industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the role of Regional Sales Head.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our sales operations. overseeing regions and territories, with a focus on achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy encompassing all regions to achieve sales targets and revenue goals for products.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to formulate effective sales plans tailored to each region.
Lead and manage sales teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure regional success.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales teams.
Identify new market opportunities and potential areas for business growth within the IMFL segment on a national scale.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and retailers in all regions to drive market penetration and brand visibility.
Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs across all regions, analyzing data to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to sales strategies in each region.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc national and regional sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance and market trends.
Develop and manage the national sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives in each region while optimizing costs.
Track expenses, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving measures on a national level to maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to the sale and distribution of products across all regions.
Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the liquor industry nationally and ensure the company's adherence to them.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers nationally, addressing their needs and concerns to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty on a broader scale.
