The Biosciences Division (BID) is a pivotal $50 million business in India. A majority of our business comes from academic and government-funded customers, with the remainder from the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, and industrial markets. Our products fall under premier brands like Applied Biosystems , Invitrogen , Thermo Scientific , and Gibco .
- Drive sales in the assigned region by effectively prioritizing available resources.
- Connect with the top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) of the region and drive business growth through them.
- Mentor and manage a team of 4-5 account managers.
- Manage key distributors from the assigned region.
- Develop, anticipate, and implement business plans.
- Monitor the sales progress on a day-to-day basis.
- Bachelors or Master s degree in Science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of industry experience in sales of scientific solutions to markets such as Pharmaceutical, BioPharma, Life Science Research (Government & Academics), and Healthcare.
- Proven people managerial experience is preferred.
- Experience in government tenders (GEM) will be an advantage.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills are required.
- Flexible to travel.
