Data Center Associate

Role & responsibilities

Infrastructure Management & Optimization:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead infrastructure deployments for greenfield factory locations and offices.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement robust cloud security measures, ensuring adherence to industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
• Regularly assess security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Automation & Scalability:

• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Automate processes to streamline cloud operations and enable seamless scalability.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

• Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure, diagnose issues, and provide rapid resolutions.
• Proactively manage system health to minimize downtime and performance bottlenecks.

Collaboration & Integration:

• Partner with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies for smooth application deployments.

Cost Management:

• Monitor cloud usage, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation.
• Provide insights and strategies to align costs with business goals.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:

• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Establish and maintain robust backup strategies.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate documentation for cloud environments, configurations, and processes.
• Provide regular reports on performance, incidents, and project progress.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, cloud security best practices, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Analytical thinking to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize infrastructure.
• Focus on continuous improvement of performance and cost management.

Adaptability & Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business objectives.

Certifications & Skills:

• Mandatory certifications in AWS or Azure.
• Proven ability to handle multiple cloud projects while maintaining security and compliance.
