HSE Intern

Role & responsibilities

1. HSE Compliance Support:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Help ensure compliance with safety regulations across all operational processes.

2. Safety Audits & Inspections:

• Conduct routine safety audits and workplace inspections.
• Identify risks and hazards, suggest corrective measures, and ensure follow-ups.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Maintain HSE records, prepare reports, and track safety metrics (e.g., incident/accident trends).
• Contribute to analyzing data to identify improvement areas.

4. Training & Awareness Initiatives:

• Assist in organizing and conducting HSE training sessions and awareness programs for employees.
• Develop and share communication material on safety practices such as posters and presentations.

5. Incident Investigation Support:

• Collaborate with the safety team to investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend preventative measures.

6. Documentation & Compliance:

• Help in preparing and maintaining safety documentation, permits, and compliance records.
• Support ISO audits and other external/internal HSE compliance assessments.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Educational Background:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Skills & Attributes:

• Basic knowledge of HSE standards, regulations, and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
