Key Essential Skills:

• Strong experience in architecting, delivering, and supporting software-based systems integrated across diverse IT infrastructures.
• Expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions, including security, system integration, and non-functional requirements.
• Knowledge of:
• Azure Active Directory
• AWS Cloud infrastructure
• SaaS solutions and system integration
• Databases and data flow architecture
• Networking and security concepts
• Infrastructure concepts for business continuity (e.g., disaster recovery, performance optimization)
• Experience working on projects related to SaaS onboarding and integration within corporate business functions.
• Ability to create detailed architecture documentation, including Solution Architecture Documents, Data Flow Diagrams, and Integrated Architecture Diagrams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, working with cross-functional teams including security, privacy, infrastructure, and cloud architects.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in on-premise to cloud migration projects.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud offerings, including Lambda and Step Functions.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP Fieldglass, SuccessFactors, etc.
• Experience in integration projects as a result of corporate acquisitions and mergers.
• Knowledge of InfoSec practices within a regulated environment.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions for enterprise SaaS onboarding and integration projects. This role will involve working closely with infrastructure and cloud architects to ensure seamless access and secure integration of applications. You will be responsible for defining and documenting the architecture, ensuring alignment with governance processes, and providing ongoing architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Define and document end-to-end solution architectures, covering systems, data, integrations, security, and non-functional requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud architects to determine secure access solutions (e.g., Internet, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)).
• Analyse and document data flows to ensure seamless user onboarding and integration with downstream systems.
• Ensure compliance with governance processes, aligning with defined principles, policies, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including Solution Architecture Documents, Data Flow Diagrams, and Integrated Architecture Diagrams.
• Present solutions in various review forums, such as the Design Integrity Forum, Architecture Committee, and Architecture Review Board.
• Guide project teams in estimating implementation efforts and identifying required resources and skills.
• Ensure solutions align with corporate technology and enterprise standards while meeting business objectives.

Critical Deliverables:

• A comprehensive Solution Architecture Document detailing:
• End-to-end solution architecture (conceptual, logical, and physical layers).
• Security features and configurations.
• System integration details.
• Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) considerations.
• Identified risks and mitigations.
• Successful approval of the Solution Architecture through governance processes.

Key KPIs:

• Timely completion of architecture documentation and technical design documents.
• Successful stakeholder and review board sign-off on the proposed solution.
• Delivery of optimal end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability.
