Minimum Qualification

PG in Computers/IT Engineering or Master of Computer Applications/ MBA in Operation / Systems /Any Graduate.

Minimum Experience

5 9 years of industry experience in both network management and business solutions role and should have worked as Head IT for at least 3 years

External Interface (people to be dealt with during duty)

Vendors/Service Providers, Project Consultants (MEP/ Architecture) , Auditors, Statutory/ Regulatory agencies , etc.

Special Skills/Attributes

(required for performing the job effectively)

• In depth understanding of computer network and Networking Knowledge

• Understanding of complex database concepts and effectively employs different database design techniques

• Significant knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures

Overall Purpose/Objective

Formulate the organization s corporate IT strategy to ensure availability of information to business users, drive innovation in the organization and support the leadership in making technology enhanced business decisions. Drive the design and implementation of organization-wide, safe and secure network infrastructure and provide support across departments

Key Deliverables

• Responsible for designing and drafting the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service level guidelines and policies pertaining to functional operations as per the organizational need and context.

• Identify information / data storage requirements of various departments and evolve guidelines for Data Storage and Management.

• Develop a risk mitigation plan for all IT operations (including Networking, Asset Management, data security, etc.,), detailing a priority list of risks and relevant controls to manage them.

• Ensure adherence to the defined policies and procedures in all functional operations.

• Responsible for data security at all levels by utilization of security systems and firewalls.

• Ensure management of network infrastructure across departments and sites to ensure adequate connectivity with minimal downtime.

• Ensuring IT support to the Project team by having meetings with external architects and consultants to identify the IT requirements for the project (network requirements, internal fit-out specification, cables, ports, EPABX requirements, etc.)

• Provide support to various user departments (Legal, Finance Accounts, Operations, etc.,) in carrying out technology evaluation and finalization of technology option for various business requirements.

• Manage project implementation in collaboration with departmental heads and ensure that project teams are in place to resolve any user queries

• Manage in-house software development cycle (if required) in terms of solution development, pilot testing and final implementation

• Conduct periodic audit of the network operations (including spywares/ spam wares, FTP revamping, addition and deletion of users, etc.) to ensure effective functioning of the network operations

• Provide support to the management for the implementation of the ERP system by scoping the requirements for various departments, providing inputs on the technical requirements, identifying and short listing suitable vendors/ partners, etc.

• Ensure Uptime of Data backup of all systems in the network.

• Vendor Management IT Procurements.

• Periodic Data centre visit and ensure all servers are up and running with 99.9% uptime.

• Liaison with Insurance team and get all IT asset insured month on month basis.

• 100 % IT compliance to be adhered.
