JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic digital team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects (VFX), with the ability to produce engaging, high-quality video content for diverse platforms. You will be responsible for crafting visual stories that communicate our clients messages effectively while working closely with clients and internal teams. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent creative instincts, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production & Editing:
- Create engaging and visually stunning videos by combining footage, motion graphics, sound, and effects. Edit raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos for social media, websites, and broadcast.
- Client Collaboration:
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project objectives and deliverables, ensuring the final product aligns with the clients brand vision.
- Creative Thinking & Concept Development:
- Utilize your creativity to develop innovative concepts and visual solutions that meet client briefs and project requirements.
- Feedback Integration:
- Incorporate client feedback and revisions to ensure the final product meets expectations and is delivered on time.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and editing to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
- Project Management:
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to established workflows to ensure efficient project completion and delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred).
- 4-5 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, and sound design, preferably in an advertising agency or a similar environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your creative projects and technical skills across various video formats and styles.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively translate client needs into compelling visual content.
- Basic knowledge of static post-production techniques and thumbnail design is a plus.
