Role & responsibilities : -

• Recruiting and training sales staff
• Allocating areas to Zonal and Regional Managers
• Liaising with line managers and HO
• Supervising, motivating, and monitoring team performance
• Setting budgets/targets and achieving the same
• Assisting line managers with the decision-making process
• Consulting with HO and the legal department to solve legal problems arising from the field. Need to know key persons in local trade union
• Keeping abreast of what competitors are doing and providing feedback to HO
• Exploiting new business opportunities from Institutions/Govt. medical stores.
• Guide the Zonal Manager in arriving at a sales forecast for each of his zones by giving yearly projections based on the previous years sales and the potential of the market.
• Support and guide ZMs in preparing the region-wise sales budget per the Company's objectives/guidelines.
• Scrutinize the 3-month rolling forecast on a monthly basis (unit-wise and product/pack-wise) prepared by the ZM, before it is sent to H.O.
• Ensure that everyone within their team reaches their targets. They are responsible for the combined performance of the team.
• Monitor the sales achievement, vis-a-vis targets
• Explore possibilities of increasing business by expanding market share for the Company's products in the assigned geographical area.
• Ratify expenses of team members of each zone along with ZM and suggest an ideal sales-to-expense ratio.
