Barista

We are seeking a Barista who is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, all while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty hazelnut-inspired creations.
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers with a friendly, positive attitude and ensuring their needs are met.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Keep track of inventory and notify the manager when supplies need to be restocked.
• Educate customers about our hazelnut-based products and suggest new items based on their preferences.
• Follow all safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe and clean environment at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and closing down the café.
• Work with the team to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong passion for coffee and beverage preparation, with an interest in learning about hazelnut-based drinks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
