Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with institutional clients, such as pension funds, mutual funds, insurance companies, government agencies, and corporations.
Act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, providing regular updates on market developments, product offerings, and portfolio performance.
Understand clients investment goals and objectives to propose suitable financial solutions.
Sales and Business Development:
Promote and sell the companys financial products and services, such as investment management solutions, structured products, bonds, and equities, to institutional investors.
Identify new business opportunities and drive growth by expanding the client base.
Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring that both the company s and clients interests are met.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to keep clients informed about investment opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with the internal research and trading teams to create compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
Client Education and Support:
Provide ongoing education to clients on market trends, investment strategies, and the benefits of the companys products.
Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Sales Reporting and Strategy:
Meet and exceed sales targets by generating revenue from institutional accounts.
Prepare and present detailed sales reports and performance analysis to senior management.
Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies, focusing on institutional clients.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Work with compliance teams to maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations affecting institutional sales and financial products.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A Master s degree or advanced financial certifications (CFA, MBA) is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in institutional sales, financial services, or investment banking.
Proven track record of managing institutional relationships and achieving sales targets.
