Job Description

1. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential markets.
o Analyze competitors and develop strategies to stay ahead in the market.
o Prepare detailed reports on findings and suggest actionable strategies.

2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
o Identify and target potential clients, including individuals, corporations, and institutional investors.
o Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.

3. Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the firm s goals.
o Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
o Create and present business plans and proposals to senior management and potential clients.

4. Sales and Marketing:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
o Lead sales initiatives and drive the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
o Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the firm s services.

5. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
o Prepare financial models and projections to support business development initiatives.
o Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities and initiatives.
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

6. Team Collaboration and Leadership:
o Work closely with other departments, such as research, trading, compliance, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
o Lead and mentor junior business development staff, providing guidance and support.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.

Experience : Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the financial services industry, preferably in a brokerage firm.

Skills :
o Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
o Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
o Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
o Knowledge of financial markets, products, and services.

Certifications : Relevant certifications may be required or preferred, depending on the region and regulatory requirements.
