Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for packaging machinery.
- Ensure the electrical systems of machinery are operating efficiently, performing troubleshooting and repairs when necessary.
- Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
- Work closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement effective electrical solutions.
- Develop and manage electrical layouts, circuit diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, designers, and production staff.
- Monitor and ensure the safety compliance of all electrical equipment.
- Perform regular testing of electrical components and systems to ensure optimal functioning.
- Lead or support installation, calibration, and commissioning of electrical systems for new machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in packaging equipment and systems, ensuring timely resolution of faults.
- Maintain documentation related to electrical systems, maintenance schedules, and testing results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
- 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and electrical troubleshooting in packaging machinery.
- Proficient in electrical design software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
