Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Data L3 Engineer to manage and support enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BGP, SD-WAN, Routing, Core Switching, Nexus, RSTP, ACI, and VSS, ensuring seamless network operations, high availability, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, configure, and troubleshoot complex network solutions.

- Manage BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and other routing protocols for optimal network performance.

- Oversee SD-WAN deployment and optimization for multi-branch connectivity.

Switching & Core Infrastructure :

- Administer and maintain Cisco Core Switching, Nexus (7K, 9K), and Catalyst series.

- Implement VSS (Virtual Switching System) and vPC for redundancy.

- Manage RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) to prevent loops and enhance stability.

- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI for software-defined networking.

- Ensure smooth integration of ACI with traditional networking setups.

Network Security & Performance Optimization :

- Enforce security best practices, including access control, firewall policies, and NAC.

- Monitor and optimize network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and NetFlow.

- Serve as L3 escalation point for complex network issues and outages.

- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve network latency, packet loss, and congestion issues.

- Maintain detailed network documentation, SOPs, and Visio diagrams.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ITIL, PCI-DSS, etc.).

- Strong expertise in Routing & Switching : BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VSS, vPC, HSRP, VRRP.

- Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco SD-WAN, Viptela, or Meraki).

- Proficiency in Cisco Nexus (5K, 7K, 9K) and ACI.

- Hands-on experience with Core Switching and LAN/WAN architectures.

- Knowledge of RSTP, STP, and network redundancy mechanisms.

- Troubleshooting experience in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).

- Familiarity with network automation (Python, Ansible) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

- Certifications preferred : CCNP, CCIE (Enterprise/Datacenter), or equivalent.
