Cloud Data Administrator - SQL Server (6-11 yrs)

Role : Cloud Data Administrator (DBA)

YOUR MISSION :

Global BI Team is running Enterprise Data Warehouse and is moving more and more databases into Azure Cloud. Global BI Team is looking for Cloud Data Administrator, who helps us to administrate and run our Azure and "on- premise" environment in terms of Databases, Synapse workspaces and ML/AI workspaces.

In his/her role she/he works close together with other IT Teams to assure healthy state of our environment and supports Data Engineers to provide necessary access and infrastructure for their projects.

- Administrate Azure Cloud Database like Azure Synapse SQL Pool (Data Warehouse), SQL Managed Instance and Azure SQL DB and SQL Server 2019 Databases

- Administrate Azure Synapse workspaces

- Administrate Azure ML/AI workspaces

- Act as coordinator for Global BI Team to different internal IT Departments like Global

- Azure Team, Identity Management Team, IT Endpoint Team, IT Network Team, IT

- Firewall Team and IT Security Team

YOUR TALENT :

- Excellent communication skills when coordinating with IT Infra Admins and Global BI Developer Teams

- Very good skills in administration of Azure Cloud Databases especially Synapse SQL

Ideally accomplished Exam DP-300 :

- Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions and see also Microsoft AZ-104

- Excellent skills in SQL Server 2019 and related features.

- Knowledge in administrating relational SQL DBs

- Very good skills in administrating Azure Synapse workspaces and Azure ML workspaces

- Understanding on Azure Cloud Infrastructure (vWAN, Azure Firewall, NSG etc.)

- Understanding on SQL Server Infrastructure (Storage, Network, VMs, Firewalls, Active Directory)

- Knowledge in administrating Repositories as well as working (fork, merge) with Code

- Ideally Git hub and Team Foundation Server

- Fluent in Business English
