Job Title: Assistant Project Manager â Business Projects & Data Analysis

Overview:
Tex Corp (Tex Fasteners) is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of cross-functional business initiatives. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong project coordination skills and the ability to track progress, manage timelines, and ensure seamless execution of key projects.
While project management is the primary focus, the ideal candidate should also have a basic understanding of data analysis to assist in evaluating project performance and improving decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
â Cross-Functional Leadership:
â Lead and execute projects spanning multiple departmentsâincluding operations, finance, sales, manufacturing, and ITâto ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
â Strategic Planning:
â Define project scope, establish clear objectives, and set milestones.
â Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable roadmaps that guide project execution.
â Performance Tracking:
â Develop and implement tracking mechanisms for project KPIs, budgets, and deliverables.
â Risk Management:
â Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for both ongoing and upcoming projects.
â Team Coordination:
â Facilitate communication and coordination among diverse teams to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure regular update and follow up from respective team members
â Process Improvement:
â Leverage expertise in managing business projects to drive process improvements and optimize project management practices.
â Data analysis and reporting
â Analyse business date and create reports for monthly reviews
â Data Insights:
â Analyze business data (from sales, production, finance, and supply chain) to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
â Educational Background : B.Tech/B.com/BBA/+ 2-3 years work ex MBAs + 1-2 years of work experience in project management
â Experience:
â Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional projects and executing process improvements.
â Previous work as assistant project management, project coordinator
â Analytical Skills:
â Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
â Strong excel, microsoft powerpoint and microsoft office suite proficiency
â Technical Proficiency:
â Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as trello, jira, Zoho , zappier
â Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools are preferred(e.g., Google Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Power BI).
â Communication:
â Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
