Technical Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity to lead and manage complex projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Management:
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for cybersecurity initiatives.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

• Team Coordination:
• Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and security operations, to ensure successful project execution.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.

• Risk Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

• Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on progress.

• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and cybersecurity best practices.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.

• Compliance and Governance:
• Ensure that projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Education:
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in the cybersecurity domain.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex cybersecurity projects.

• Certifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).

• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
