About the Job

As an Associate Director of Artificial Intelligence, you will be leading our AI practices across Data Science and Machine Learning Operations. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, defining the AI strategy, and driving the development and implementation of AI solutions across Tesseracts product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in machine learning, AI technologies, and data science, along with strong leadership abilities to manage interdisciplinary teams.

What You ll Be Doing

• AI Strategy and Roadmap
  • • Define and drive the organization s AI strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and goals.
    • Identify key opportunities where AI and machine learning can create value across different business units.
    • Stay up to date on AI trends and emerging technologies to inform and shape the strategy.
• Leadership and Team Management
  • • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, AI researchers, and software developers.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the AI team.
    • Ensure the team follows best practices in AI and machine learning, from model development to deployment.
• AI Development and Execution
  • • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI models, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and relevance to business needs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, R&D) to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
    • Ensure AI initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance expectations.
• Research and Innovation
  • • Spearhead AI research projects to explore new AI methodologies and applications.
    • Collaborate with external research institutes, universities, and AI communities to leverage cutting-edge innovations.
    • Drive proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to explore new AI models and validate potential business benefits.
• Data Strategy and Governance
  • • Ensure that AI models are trained on high-quality, relevant data, and that data privacy and security measures are in place.
    • Work with the data engineering team to establish robust data pipelines and infrastructure for machine learning applications.
    • Implement ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for responsible AI use, minimizing bias and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Business Impact and Reporting
  • • Monitor and measure the success of AI initiatives, using KPIs and performance metrics to assess ROI and impact on the business.
• Prepare reports for the executive team on the progress and impact of AI initiatives.
• Identify areas for process optimization and business growth through AI-driven insights.

What We Need To See

• Strong knowledge, and understanding of the GenAI models, algorithms, and techniques - OpenAI, LLaMA, Claude, Palm, LLMs, how to deploy them on cloud/ on-premises and use APIs to build Industry solutions.
• Experienced in implementing, and optimizing generative models for various applications such as text generation, image synthesis, and data augmentation.
• Experienced in using frameworks like Lang Chain, Llama index, and Semantic Kernel.
• Experienced in working on concepts like RAG, and Model Tuning.
• Participate actively in the AI training program, absorbing, and applying knowledge on generative AI models, algorithms, and techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to understand and solve complex AI problems.
• Use analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, debug, and improve solutions built with AI models and algorithms.
• Assist in the development and implementation of AI projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Continuously learn about new AI technologies and trends to stay updated and bring innovative ideas to the team.
