Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Territory Management: Take ownership of a specific geographic area and develop strategies to maximize sales and market penetration within that territory.
2. Sales Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives. Analyze market trends, identify target customers, and devise sales plans to penetrate new markets or expand existing ones.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers within your territory. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions.
4. Sales Execution: Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, and negotiations to close deals with customers. Provide support and guidance to customers in selecting the appropriate products or services for their needs.
5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales volumes, analyse sales data, and prepare regular reports for management. Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance within the territory.
6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment and deliver excellent customer experiences. Coordinate with colleagues to ensure efficient order processing, timely delivery, and prompt resolution of any issues.
7. Market Analysis: Continuously assess market conditions, competitors, and customer trends to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales approach as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into your sales strategies.
8. Training and Development: Train and educate customers on the features, benefits, and applications of your products or services. Provide training and support to distributor sales teams or channel partners within your territory.
9. Territory Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the sales territory by targeting new customers, exploring untapped market segments, or introducing new products or services.
10. Relationship Building: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, build relationships with potential customers or partners, and stay updated on industry developments. Actively participate in industry organizations and associations to establish your presence and credibility within the territory.
