- As the Lead Direct Tax professional, he/she responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of tasks aimed at ensuring comprehensive and compliant management of direct tax functions.

- Your role involves a combination of strategic planning, meticulous execution, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Quarterly and Annual Tax Computation: Conducting meticulous quarterly and annual computations of tax provisions, as well as assessing deferred tax assets and liabilities.

- Income Tax Return and Audit: Preparation and timely filing of essential documents, including Income Tax Returns, Tax Audit Reports, and Transfer Pricing Reports.

- Tax Authority Interaction: Representing the organization in interactions with tax authorities for assessments, reassessments, and appellate proceedings, providing necessary submissions as required.

- Appeals Handling: Preparing and filing appeals before the CIT(A) and Tribunal, actively participating in the resolution of tax-related matters.
