Job Description (Essential Exposure to Areas)

• Understanding & Preparation of 3D Models, GA Drawings, Detail engineering drawings for Static Equipment, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Vessels, Tanks etc.Thickness calculation and preparation of BOM for all types of heat exchangers
• - Projects study and scheduling of the tasks involved
• - Client/consultants communications for queries/clarifications.
• - He / She should have assigned work to engineers and planned their activities
• - Co-ordination with internal departments like projects, purchase, planning etc.
• - Should have been worked in preferably manufacturing companies involved in process equipments/power plant equipments
• - Should have designed equipments using various codes like ASME Sec VIII div.I, II, API, TEMA, HEI, IBR, BS/ UBC codes etc.
• - Should have designed/ checked calculations & drawings of various equipments using design software’s like PVElite, Autocad, Solidworks etc.
• - Should have knowledge and able to handle ISO audit pertaining to design activities.

Skills/Competencies Required

• - Should have thorough knowledge of various codes like ASME Sec VIII div.I, II, API, TEMA, HEI, IBR, BS/ UBC codes etc.
• - Knowledge of design/ checking of calculations & drawings.
• - Should be well conversant with design software like PVElite, Autocad, Solidwork etc.
• - Should have good communication and leadership skills.
• - Should be well capable to take individual decisions.
• - Must be able to train the trainees
