Production Planning Engineer

JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION PLANNING ENGG.

REPORTING TO: AGM PRODUCTION & PLANNING

Purpose:

Job description is a part of Company Quality Policies and Procedures. This standard defines tasks and responsibilities of the PRODUCTION PLANNING ENGG. for Tema India Pvt. Ltd in the TEMA, KHERDI. This standard is valid for all employees associated with this role.

General:

The PRODUCTION PLANNING ENGG is responsible for the execution of all simultaneous projects in accordance with a valid, executed contract, per company policies and procedures and work instructions for customized and standard equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The PRODUCTION PLANNING ENGG shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepare Micro schedule in MS Project after receipt of the work order covering all functional activities basic and detailed engineering, Material procurement status, manufacturing and dispatch.
• Prepare material requirement for major material & critical parts as per planned schedule.
• To co-ordinate with Kherdi / Panoli factory.
• Track project milestones and deliverables
• Prepare production plan and distribute to all HOD.
• Create Track and Monitor work orders being handled against its overall execution schedule and monitor the delays regarding all which are affected to the delivery of equipment.
• Prepare and send Work progress status to H.O on fortnightly basis.
• Monitor critical path of each job. Identify parallel activities that could be performed and prepare catch up plans.
• Submit monthly and periodic updates of manufacturing schedule to projects
• Participate in review meetings with customers
• Communicate on technical and commercial issues with Projects during execution
• Prepare Inspection stages for TPI & send Inspection notification
• Prepare and send % wise WIP (Work in progress) for running projects.
• Prepare contractor work order.
• Prepare CNC gun drill M/c Planning (QM,KGD, Dayang & Pre-Mack)
• Prepare Radial drill M/c, VTL & Late M/c Planning.
• Prepare Rolling & cutting M/c Planning.
• Prepare sub-contractors work order.
• Prepare future tube sheet drilling load.
• Prepare monthly production program.
• Prepare Job Card (Operation Card) for rolling Items.
• Coordinate for sub vendor details for rolling & forming Items.
• Coordinate for sending forming Items & all required. details to sub vendor.
• Follow up for rolling & forming items.
• Follow up for material hold points.
• Maintain record of material receipt & identification status of all projects & follow up on discrepancy points.
• Regular inter department status review meetings effectively

• 100% jobs within CDD
• Track and Monitor all work orders for execution within contractual delivery dates.
• To maintain co-ordination with Q.C. & production people so that they get the right material at the right place.
• To keep the records of discrepancy and try to solved the discrepancy timely by co-coordinating with H.O.
