Teleglobal International - SQL Server/Azure Engineer - Database Administration (5-10 yrs)

MS SQL + Azure.

Responsibilities :

Database Administration :

- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.

- Perform routine database tasks, such as backups, restores, and recovery.

- Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary.

Azure Integration :

- Work with Azure cloud services to design, implement, and maintain database solutions.

- Migrate on-premises databases to Azure, ensuring a seamless transition.

- Implement and manage Azure SQL Database and related services.

Performance Tuning :

- Identify and resolve performance issues in both on-premises and cloud-based databases.

- Optimize queries and database structures for improved efficiency.

Automation :

- Develop and implement automation scripts for routine database tasks.

- Explore opportunities for process automation and optimization.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator and having 1 years experience in Azure.

- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.

Communication :

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
