We are looking for a Director to manager Telecommunition OSS/BSS Preasales Portfolio
Primary responsibilities often include:
- Understanding Client Needs: Engaging with potential clients to understand their requirements and challenges in telecom BSS/OSS portfolio.
- Solution Development: Designing tailored solutions that meet client specifications, often involving collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Presentations and Demonstrations: Delivering compelling presentations to showcase how solutions can solve client problems.
- Technical Support: Providing technical expertise during the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.
- Proposal Writing: Creating detailed proposals that outline the proposed solutions, including technical specifications, timelines, and pricing.
- Market Research: Staying informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to better position the company's solutions.
- Training and Support: Sometimes involved in training sales teams on technical aspects of products and solutions.
- Clients: Exposure to North American Telco clients is a plus. Expertise in managing Telco captives.
Qualification:
- 12+Years experience as Telecom Presales Consultant playing a crucial role in bridging the gap between sales and technical teams.
- Very good understanding of Telecom Domain, Experience handling Proactive Proposals, RFP/RFI. Ability to work with Client team in understanding their business problems and work with Technical team in building proposals to address client needs.
- Good understanding of Pre-sales/Solutions process and activities with at least 8 years of hands-on experience
- Good bid/project management skills - ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
- Good analytical & research skills; Ability to draw meaningful insights and inferences from data and build an action plan to leverage it for business growth/sales
- Customer orientation - ability to create customized solutions in line with client's needs
- Good communication & interpersonal skills;
- Strong presentation skills
- Display sustained energy and determination to meet challenging deliverables within stringent timelines
- Ability to work independently with diverse & global teams and interact confidently with Senior Leadership
- Interpersonal sensitivity; ability to relate to individuals and develop sustained working relationships is key
- Educational Qualification & Experience Required: Graduate/Post-Graduate
