Area Sales Manager
Job Overview:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share in a designated area through the agency channel. This role includes leading a team of agency managers to achieve sales targets, recruiting and developing agents, and ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute sales strategies to meet regional sales objectives.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a motivated and high-performing team of agency managers.
- Track and assess sales performance to identify improvement areas.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and offer feedback to agency managers.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with agency partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Conduct market analysis to spot potential opportunities and challenges.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management within the Indian life insurance sector.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Indian life insurance market and its regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
