Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - PyTest/Python (6-12 yrs)

Job Description :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Cucumber.

- Manage and execute end-to-end manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.

- Act as an Xray expert, ensuring seamless integration of Xray with JIRA for efficient test case management and reporting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployments.

- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.

- Monitor and analyze test results, providing actionable insights to improve product quality.

- Train and mentor QA team members on automation best practices and tools.

- Effectively communicate with US-based clients to convey test strategies, results, and quality improvements.

Required Skills and Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- Strong proficiency in Python and Pytest for automation testing.

- Hands-on experience with Cucumber for BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).

- In-depth knowledge of Xray JIRA integration, including test case creation, execution, and reporting.

- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for scalable testing.

- Defect management proficiency using JIRA or similar tools.

- Knowledge of integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).

- Expertise in Scrum ceremonies and execution.
