Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions with a focus on performance optimization and normalization.

- Implement and manage procedures, functions, jobs, and other database objects to enhance database efficiency.

- Perform advanced query tuning and ensure the optimization of database performance.

- Lead and execute the migration of large Oracle databases, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

- Develop and implement strategies for seamless and continuous database migrations.

- Optimize migration techniques to significantly reduce overall migration time.

- Manage and maintain Oracle databases in RAC (Real Application Clusters) environments on Exadata platforms.

- Monitor database performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability, availability, and scalability.

- Ensure database security, including user access management, data encryption, and compliance with security policies.

- Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies.

- Ensure data integrity and availability through proper disaster recovery planning and testing.

- Research and implement the latest database technologies and best practices.

- Collaborate with development teams to align database design with application requirements.

- Provide recommendations for improving system architecture and infrastructure to meet business needs.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, managing and maintaining enterprise-grade Oracle databases.

- Expertise in writing procedures, functions, and jobs, with a focus on database normalization and optimization techniques.

- Proven experience in migrating large-scale Oracle databases with reduced migration time and minimal impact on business operations.

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) on Exadata platforms.

- Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.

- Hands-on experience in developing strategies for seamless and continuous database migration.

- Solid knowledge of database security and compliance best practices.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving database issues in high-availability environments.
