SQL Developer - Python/Amazon RDS (5-8 yrs)

Job Title: SQL Developer - Financial Platform (5-10 Years of Experience)Job Summary:.

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with 5-10 years of experience to join our IT team in building a new financial platform.

This platform will support valuation teams in performing daily, monthly, and quarterly marking of credit investments.

It will connect to multiple pricing sources, apply pricing rules, track approval workflows, and integrate with downstream applications for reporting and further processing.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a platform being built from the ground up and work alongside a dynamic team of developers, infrastructure engineers, and QA specialists.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of SQL development experience in a financial services or related industry.

- Strong understanding of database design principles, SQL Server (DDL, DML, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, Dynamic SQL).

- Experience handling large datasets, optimizing queries, and debugging SQL-related issues.

- Knowledge of financial products and valuation concepts (discount rates, cap rates, exit multiples) is a plus.

- Experience with integration services, reporting platforms, and workflow automation.

- Familiarity with cloud databases and working with application data layers.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot database-related issues.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or other cloud-based database solutions.

- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation.

- Exposure to data warehousing and ETL processes.
