SQL Developer (4-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database SQL Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud technologies.

You will leverage your deep expertise in T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data integration to deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable database solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Develop high-quality database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.

- Design, develop, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Implement and manage SQL Server indexes for optimal query performance.

- Perform query optimization and performance tuning to ensure efficient database operations.

- Design and implement database schemas and data models.

- Utilize CTEs (Common Table Expressions) and table joins to create complex queries.

- Implement memory optimization techniques.

- Develop and maintain SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages for data integration and ETL processes.

- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration between different systems.

- Utilize Bulk Insert and BCP (Bulk Copy Program) for efficient data loading.

- Integrate SQL Server with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

- Handle XML and JSON data using T-SQL functions and operations.

- Utilize Azure cloud technologies for database deployment and management.

- Implement database solutions in Azure SQL Database or Azure SQL Managed Instance.

- Develop and maintain SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports.

- Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.

- Research required data and build appropriate reporting deliverables.

- Provide timely scheduled management reporting.

- Investigate and resolve exceptions related to data and asset movements.

- Implement and manage SQL Server Job Agent for scheduled tasks.

- Develop and maintain backup and maintenance plans.

- Utilize CMD Shell for scripting and automation.

- Work with EAV (Entity-Attribute-Value) data structures.

- Integrate SQL Server with external systems and applications.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.

- Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.

- Strong expertise in stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization.

- Experience with SSIS and SSRS.

- Experience with XML and JSON data handling in SQL Server.

- Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.

- Experience with data migration and integration.

- Strong understanding of database design and data modeling.

- Experience with SQL Server indexes, Bulk Insert, BCP, and CMD Shell.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
