Quality Assurance Engineer - Functional/Regression Testing (5-12 yrs)

QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance team, overseeing the testing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to maintain high standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers.

- Set objectives, provide guidance, and support the professional development of team members.

Testing Strategy and Planning :

- Develop and implement the overall testing strategy for the product or project.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine testing priorities and timelines.

Quality Assurance Execution :

- Oversee the execution of various testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, etc.).

- Ensure that all testing activities are carried out according to defined processes and standards.

- Conduct testing when necessary, and review the test outcomes.

Quality Metrics and Reporting :

- Define and track key quality metrics and KPIs.

- Generate regular reports on quality status, test coverage, and issues found.

- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on the test results.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliverables.

- Participate in project meetings, providing input on quality-related matters.

Tool and Process Improvement :

- Evaluate and implement new tools or processes to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

- Identify areas for process optimization and automation within the QA workflow.
