Job Overview :

As a Software QA Engineer specializing in Guidewire at NXTPods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital engineering solutions.

You will design and execute testing strategies for Guidewire applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet client expectations. This remote position requires flexibility to work during CST hours (7 PM - 11 PM IST) to align with team and client needs.

Your expertise in QA methodologies and Guidewire software will be essential in identifying issues and driving improvements in our development process.

Roles and Responsibility :

- Experience with Bulk rate testing in Guidewire

- Well versed with performing testing on Policy Center

- Familiar with Guidewire plugin like Risk implementation plugin

- Develop and integrate bulk rate testing capabilities to support Guidewire applications.

- Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for Guidewire applications.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.

- Perform manual and automated testing, including regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.

- Identify opportunities for automation and enhance existing automated testing processes.

- Identify, document, and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements :

- Experience with Guidewire software (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center).

- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing frameworks.

- Strong experience with automated testing tools (e.g. , Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Proficiency in automated testing tools and scripting languages.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Knowledge of insurance industry processes is a plus.

- Experience of managing a small team 3-5 peoples.
