Job Title: Storage Architect/L3

Experience:  10+ Years

Mode of Hire : Fulltime

Work Location : Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

• Management and administration of XtremIO X2 storage (hands-on mandatory)
• SAN switch administration, zoning and mapping.
• LUN masking and security
• iSCSI and FC based configuration of initiators and LUN mapping.
• Good working knowledge of VMware and datastore mappings needed for hosting Production VM's
• Upgrades and performance management of SAN boxes
• Administration of Dell Compellent SAN storage
• Azure Blob storage
• Persistent Disks
• Azure Files

Job Description:

• Design and implement Azure storage solutions that meet the performance, scalability, and security requirements of our organization and clients.
• Work closely with other PM, engineers, and stakeholders to understand storage requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work with Migration team of Network and VM Cloud engineers and guide in data movement from on-prem to Azure.
• Evaluate new Azure storage services and features and make recommendations for their adoption.
• Develop data migration strategies to move data to Azure storage from on-premises environments or other cloud platforms.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data availability and business continuity.
• Monitor and optimize Azure storage resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.
• Document storage architectures, designs, and procedures.
• Willingness to work on weekends or EST shift, ONLY  IF NEEDED (rotation basis)
• Provide guidance and support to other team members on storage-related issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Azure storage technologies.
• At least 3 migrations executed to Cloud from on-prem (minimum 2 to Azure)

• Strong attention to detail while juggling multiple priorities
• Possess cross cultural awareness, a good sense of humor and high emotional intelligence
