Role Summary :

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our growing team in Hyderabad.

- You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure on the Snowflake platform.

- This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and a passion for building robust and scalable data solutions.

- You will collaborate with other engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products that drive business insights.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and other relevant technologies.

- Build and optimize data models for analytical and reporting purposes within Snowflake.

- Perform ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.

- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues.

- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of our data engineering practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Snowflake and data engineering technologies.

- Potentially lead data migration efforts from on-premise/cloud environments to Snowflake (Preferred).

- Mentor and guide junior data engineers (if applicable).

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and querying within Snowflake.

- Experience with ETL processes and tools.

- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.

- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience leading data migration efforts to Snowflake.

- Exposure to data orchestration tools like Airflow.

- Experience with data transformation tools like DBT.

- Familiarity with message queuing systems like Apache Camel.

- Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Qlik
