Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, with a specialization in Snowflake cloud data platform. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Architecture and Design :

- Design and implement data models, schemas, and architecture within Snowflake.

- Develop and maintain optimized and efficient data pipelines.

Development and Integration :

- Create ETL/ELT processes for data integration using tools like Talend, Informatica, or native Snowflake utilities.

- Write complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize query performance and storage in Snowflake.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments for performance and reliability.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Document technical processes and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement best practices for data security and access control.

- Ensure compliance with data governance policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 6+ years of overall experience in data engineering or related fields.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Snowflake architecture, SQL, and scripting languages.

- Experience with data integration tools like Talend, Informatica, or Matillion.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in Snowflake or relevant cloud technologies.

- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data manipulation.
