Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and oversee the Plant Engineering Division, ensuring seamless project execution across multiple disciplines, including Piping Design, Civil/Architectural, Structural Design, PLC Controls, Electrical Design, and 3D Modelling using AVEVA E3D, AutoDesk Plant 3D, Smart Plant 3D. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale projects for multinational clients in the US and EU markets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams involved in plant design, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee Process engineering, Mechanical and piping, civil/structural, electrical, Instrumentation and controls design, ensuring integration and interoperability between various engineering disciplines.
• Drive the implementation and utilization of AutoDesk Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D and Smart Plant 3D, AFT Fathom, StaadPro for efficient plant engineering, modeling and design coordination.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, risk management plans, and resource allocation strategies to optimize project delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for MNC clients, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with international engineering codes, safety regulations, and quality standards relevant to Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, and F&B industries.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project managers and engineers and within the division.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating innovative solutions to enhance engineering efficiency and sustainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in any one or two disciplines and better understanding of other disciplines is acceptable.
• 15+ years of experience in plant engineering, with hands-on involvement in Process, Mechanical, piping, civil, structural, electrical, and Instrumentation and controls design.
• Proven expertise in handling EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) projects for global clients.
• Exposure to various relevant standards in different geographies like ASME, EN, IS, IBR (e.g. - ASME Section VIII Div 1 and Div 2, API 620/650/653 ASCE, ACI, NFPA, EN standards etc.
• Strong exposure to AVEVA E3D and Smart Plant 3D for plant modeling and design optimization.
• Experience in managing large-scale Oil & Gas, consumer goods, Renewable Energy, and F&B projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multinational clients in the US and EU, understanding their specific project requirements and compliance needs.
• Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and risk assessment expertise.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
