IT Recruitment Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Sourcing Candidates: Use job portals, LinkedIn, and other platforms to find potential IT candidates for open positions.
• Screening Resumes: Review resumes to match candidates with job requirements.
• Coordinating Interviews: Schedule and manage interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Database Management: Maintain and update candidate records in the companys Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Posting Job Openings: Create and share job descriptions on various job boards and social media platforms.
• Communicating with Candidates: Reach out to candidates to explain job roles, requirements, and next steps in the hiring process.
• Learning Recruitment Tools: Gain experience in using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and sourcing extensions to improve hiring efficiency

Preferred candidate profile

1. Educational Background:
   
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
2. Experience:
   
• Prior experience (0-2 years) in recruitment or talent acquisition is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in IT or technical hiring is a plus.
3. Skills and Competencies:
   
• Strong understanding of technical roles and IT skills (e.g., software development, cloud computing, DevOps, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for candidate engagement.
• Proficiency in using job boards, LinkedIn, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Good analytical skills to evaluate candidate qualifications and match them with job requirements.
4. Behavioural Traits:
   
• Self-motivated and target-driven attitude.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple job openings simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
5. Tools and Technology:
   
• Familiarity with recruitment platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, or Indeed.
• Knowledge of sourcing tools like Boolean search, X-ray search, or GitHub for tech talent sourcing (optional).
6. Flexibility and Adaptability:
   
• Willingness to learn and adapt to dynamic IT industry trends and hiring needs.
