Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our finance team. The Accounts Specialist/Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry.
• Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.

• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Generate financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist in the implementation of financial controls and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (, QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
