Position: Senior Civil Engineer

Department: Civil Engineering/Construction

Reporting To: [ Project Manager/Construction Manager]

Experience Required: 4- 6 years in civil engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Project Management:
• • Lead and oversee civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
• • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to determine project specifications and requirements.
• 2. Design and Planning:
• • Develop and review detailed structural designs, drawings, and blueprints.
• • Conduct feasibility studies, prepare cost estimates, and propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• 3. Construction Supervision:
• • Monitor on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to designs, specifications, and safety regulations.
• • Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to junior engineers and contractors during project execution.
• 4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
• • Conduct site inspections, material quality checks, and structural audits.
• 5. Team Collaboration:
• • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, surveying, and MEP engineers.
• • Mentor and train junior engineers to build a skilled and cohesive team.
• 6. Documentation and Reporting:
• • Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, as-built drawings, and material approvals.
• • Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies:

• • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, structural design, and construction methods.
• • Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Primavera, and MS Project.
• • Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech).
• • Valid professional engineer license/registration (if applicable).
