Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. This is a hybrid opportunity, offering flexibility in work arrangements. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in automation testing with proficiency in various tools and technologies, including Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, JMeter, and more.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for mobile and web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and other relevant tools.

- Perform mobile and web automation testing to ensure software quality across platforms.

- Develop and execute performance testing scripts using JMeter.

- Integrate automation tests into Azure DevOps pipeline for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to analyze user stories and requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues found during automated testing.

- Use Git for version control and collaborate with the team for code reviews and pull requests.

- Leverage Node.js for scripting tasks and integration with test frameworks.

- Work with Android SDK for mobile application testing.

- Report and track defects, ensure timely resolution, and validate bug fixes.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and documentation.

- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the test automation framework and testing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on web and mobile applications.

- Proficiency in Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and JMeter.

- Solid experience with mobile testing (Android/iOS) and web automation.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong version control experience with Git.

- Experience with Node.js for automation tasks and integration.

- Familiarity with Android SDK for mobile application testing.

- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.

- Familiarity with additional test automation frameworks or tools.

- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
