Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Pune for a hybrid work opportunity. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications through a combination of manual and automated testing practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient testing strategies and tools.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a solid background in manual and automation testing, along with proficiency in tools such as Appium, Selenium, Java, JMeter, and Cucumber.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and execute both manual and automated tests for web and mobile applications.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Appium, and Java.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate continuous testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Perform performance testing using JMeter to identify system bottlenecks and performance issues.

- Create and maintain automated test scripts and ensure they meet the required standards.

- Develop test plans, test cases, and test strategies in alignment with project requirements.

- Use Cucumber for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and implement test automation frameworks.

- Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.

- Participate in code reviews and maintain test documentation for continuous improvement.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and work on their resolution with the development team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and performance issues.

- Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices in manual and automated testing.

Key Skills and Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.

- Strong experience with Appium and Selenium for automating mobile and web applications.

- Expertise in Java for writing and maintaining automated tests.

- Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing and analysis.

- Familiarity with Cucumber for implementing BDD test cases.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and QA methodologies.

- Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

- Experience working in Agile teams and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience with cloud testing or mobile testing would be a plus.

- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and version control systems is a plus.
