Project Sales Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Project Sales Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. This role involves technical sales support and project management for engineering solutions in a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, understanding technical requirements, and ensuring successful execution of sales projects from initial concept to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients.
• Provide technical consultations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to potential clients.
• Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Project Management:

• Manage the sales lifecycle of projects from initial inquiry to project completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and installation.
• Oversee project progress and ensure it aligns with customer requirements and timelines.

Technical Support:

• Act as the technical liaison between the customer and the company.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure the effective implementation of solutions.
• Assist in the selection of technical products, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
• Resolve customer issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Provide regular reports on project status, sales forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the engineering, marketing, and production teams to ensure the effective delivery of solutions.
• Participate in training programs and sales meetings to stay updated on new technologies and product offerings.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales engineering, project management, or a related technical sales role.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of the technical aspects of the products or services being sold.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Sales, Business, or a related field.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with customers and internal teams.
