Technical Delivery Manager

General R&D Management (GRM) comprises the management of the engineering organisation which includes development and revision of new and existing products or services. Covers monitoring of different engineering dimensions and priority setting and conflict resolution between the different organisational dimensions (if any). Contains formulation of long-term objectives, implementation of policies, and monitoring of engineering budget and development schedule. Comprises optimisation of product delivery and involvement in patent search, technology surveillance, technology trends, and is main contributor in innovation management of the company.

As a Delivery Manager (DM), you will be responsible for project deliveries managing a team that reports directly, overseeing the implementation of complex software applications effectively lead projects and teams while ensuring successful software deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee Telecom Core Network software development projectsfrom inception to completion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (MS team, Customers, Cross-functional teams) to define the project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
• Lead and motivate software development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and skillsetswithin the team. Identify and address any resource gaps to ensure project success.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and mentoring sessions.
• Engaging in code reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in deliverables
• Identifying and mitigatingproject risks and issues proactively.
• Conduct regular quality checks, reviews, and audits. Continuously assess and improve delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide post-project analysisto evaluate successes and areas of improvement.
• Driving the integration of Agile practises within technical teams to enhance collaboration and adaptability.
• Continuous focus on improving internal processes for better project outcomes (e.g., retrospectives, process audits, lean practices)

Mandatory Skillset

• Solid understanding of software development practices and technologies, including cloud computing, DevOps principles. Agile methodologies and experiences with CI/CD pipelines, microservicesis a plus.
• Good understanding of 3GPP (E-UTRAN, NG-RAN, IMS etc.), OMA, ATIS, NENA, and related standards.
• Knowledge in SS7, Diameter, SIP, HTTP2, TCP/IP, TLS is a plus.
• Sound expertise in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables alignment with project goals.

• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft teams, Confluence, SharePoint.

• Ability to work under pressure in critical environments for sustained period.

• Having experience in delivering Telecom Core Network applications and Location services projects, along with a solid understanding of 3GPP Specifications, is a significant advantage.
• Practical experience in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint reviews is a plus.
