Data Modeller
Data Architect/Modeller in the Data Architecture and Platforms division of the data office who will support in designing, building and managing the Data Architecture and Data Models with an end-to-end accountability.
Working for the Head of Data Architecture, the Data Architect will establish and implement a Data architecture framework, data design standards, data models; and setup the required organisational capability, structure and practices to effectively manage ongoing improvements. The Data Architect will interact cross-functionally with leaders and teams in all business functions regions, sites and markets; tech partners and architects; partnering with a wide array of stakeholders to support data initiatives.
The Data Architect will support the development of Enterprise Data architecture and modelling capabilities, in line with the Data Strategy and will focus on continuous improvement of capabilities and efficiencies within the Data Architecture and Platforms organisation.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Data Architecture and key business stakeholders to establish a vision and will manage its Enterprise Data Architecture and data models with an initial focus on strategic priorities.
• Support from data architecture perspective in the co-creation or update of the Business Architecture with business owners and functional leads covering the organisation, functions, process framework, personas, and data.
• Understand the Business and Data Strategy for a function and collaborate with the Business and data owners across the functions to define the Enterprise Data models, which defines how the business sees information.
• Collaborate with Business Leads, Business Owners, Innovation Leads, Product Managers, Data Scientists to evaluate the data needs for any new idea or data product and provide recommendations on right source to meet the data needs.
• Responsible for developing the enterprise data model, comprised of a subject area model (SAM), enterprise conceptual data model (ECDM), enterprise logical data model (ELDM) and physical data models (PDM).
• Align data flows to business capabilities and processes, highlighting potential improvements and benefits/value creation.
• Collaborate with Platform Architects, Tech Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure the enterprise view of data is represented accurately with an application or solution scope and participate in architecture forums and review boards.
• Support the definition and design governance of foundational data layer and curated data assets.
• Actively contribute to the roadmap which will deliver on the vision to create and embed meta data management and data modelling capabilities as foundational pillars for data governance.
• Establish strong relationships with key leaders, business partners and functions with the goal of fostering a collaborative approach to developing, managing, and sustaining good data management practices and operations.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Understanding and experience of Sustainability metrics and data models to support sustainability reporting
• Data Architecture experience, with understanding of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 2 ESG requirement
• Past experience in Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM) tool
• Understanding of product, Purchase orders, invoices, sales data
• Significant experience in 3NF, dimensional modelling and data vault
• Hands-on in data modelling tools (any tool)
• Ability to create models from conception through to logic
• Aware of Azure data architecture (raw, sanitised, created layers)
• Understanding of data from MM & SD module of SAP preferable

Additional skills needed:

• Broader understanding of a CPG or Consumer healthcare industry and functional understanding of data from one or more business functions.
• Functional familiarity with one or more key master domains such as product, customer, supplier; and challenges typically involved in managing an enterprise view of the domain.
• Functional familiarity with one or more key transactional data domains such as sales, consumption, or other transactional data for a business function and the challenges typically involved in managing an enterprise view of the domain.
• Demonstrable experience in creating and managing an enterprise data architecture over a data platform architecture.
• Strong demonstrable experience in data design and modelling from conceptual, logical to physical data models and proficiency is using one or more modelling tools
• Familiarity with data management principles and approaches is preferable but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality outcomes that meet project needs.
• TOGAF, Azure fundamentals and azure solution architecture beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in using devops board
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
