Job Description

7 to 10 years of experience in Database Administration for very large and complex databases in SQL Server working on Nutanix environment
Experience on Installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting SQL Server
Management of Database Space, Growth Monitoring of Data & Transaction log files
Experience on General database housekeeping operations and health check-up jobs and maintenance plans implementation
Experience on Security in Creating Logins, Users and Fixing the Orphan Users
Have experience with Database Backup, Restore and Disaster Recovery procedures
Administer SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies
Hands-on experience on high availability solutions like Always-On, Replication and Database Mirroring and Log Shipping Troubleshooting production issues and raising high availability
Experience in upgrading SQL Server to new versions and applying service packs and hot fixes
Server configuration, performance monitoring and maintenance with outstanding troubleshooting capabilities
Troubleshooting blocking, locking, and deadlocks
Experience with SQL Server Migration to higher versions and in-place upgrades
24 X 7 Production Database on Call Support
