Roles and Responsibilities

• DBAs with experience in multiple databases for database support and maintenance: (postgres, mongo, hadoop, redis, mySql, CosmoDB)
• Database Design and Implementation: Design and implement database structures that meet the requirements of the organization. This includes creating schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
• Database Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches to ensure the database remains secure, reliable, and efficient. This also includes monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments.
• Data Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect sensitive data. This includes setting up user roles and permissions, encrypting data, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks. This involves tuning queries, indexing strategies, and hardware resources to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates. Automate routine tasks such as resource provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
