Job Description:

As a Cisco Network Engineer - Level 2, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' Cisco network infrastructure. You will be responsible for resolving complex network issues, configuring advanced networking features, and providing technical leadership to junior team members. Collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders will be essential to ensure network performance meets stringent service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching solutions, including Nexus series switches.
• Implement and support advanced network services such as MPLS, QoS, VPN, and multicast routing protocols (e.g., PIM).
• Lead network architecture design and implementation projects, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Level 1 engineers and technical support teams.
• Conduct network performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize network resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
• Participate in on-call rotation and handle escalated network issues during non-business hours.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Cisco CCNP certification (CCIE certification is a plus).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco enterprise networks.
• Expertise in Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS platforms.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) is desirable.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
