Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Planning:.
- Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Identify key industries, geographies, and segments to target.
- Prepare and execute action plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
2. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competition, and client needs within the IT services sector.
- Analyze data to identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.
- Provide insights and recommendations for service enhancement and diversification.
3. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and generate leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and industry events.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Qualify leads to determine their potential and align them with company services.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and challenges to tailor IT services solutions accordingly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and onboarding phases.
5. Proposal Development and Presentation:
- Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams to create compelling proposals and RFP responses.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
- Address client objections and negotiate terms to close deals.
6. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide feedback from clients to inform product and service enhancements.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align business goals.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, client meetings, and revenue performance.
- Use CRM systems to document all client interactions and sales progress.
- Analyze sales metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
