Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
• Understand the client's goals, objectives, and business priorities to develop tailored PR strategies.
• Regularly meet with clients to provide updates, pitch ideas, and discuss the progress of ongoing campaigns.

Campaign Strategy and Execution:

• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with the clients business objectives and industry trends.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of PR campaigns, ensuring that deliverables meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on media relations, crisis management, social media, and brand reputation.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, including Account Managers, Executives, and Assistants.
• Assign tasks and oversee the development of press materials (e.g., press releases, media kits, pitch notes, etc.).
• Ensure the teams activities align with client expectations and contribute to successful outcomes.

Media Relations:

• Monitor media coverage, prepare media reports, and provide insights to clients on campaign performance.

Budget and Financial Management:

• Manage client budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and financial targets are met.
• Provide regular budget updates and invoicing to clients, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

New Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients.
• Assist in writing proposals and presentations for new business pitches.
• Help expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities for further PR services.

Crisis Communications:

• Advise clients on crisis communication strategies, helping them navigate sensitive situations.
• Prepare key messaging, holding statements, and manage communication flow during crises.
