Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Corporate / MICE (Meetings, Incentives,
Conferences, and Exhibitions) Sales Manager to join our team at [Hotel/Resort Name]. This
role is pivotal in driving corporate and MICE sales, building strong relationships with
corporate clients, event planners, and agencies, and securing business for our hotel/resort for
meetings, conferences, and special events. The ideal candidate will have a deep
understanding of the hospitality industry and an ability to deliver outstanding sales strategies
that lead to high-level bookings and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
ï• Corporate & MICE Sales Strategy:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to target corporate
accounts, event organizers, meeting planners, and associations.
o Focus on both local and international markets to generate MICE business and
corporate accounts.
o Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of corporate clients for conferences,
meetings, incentive trips, exhibitions, and other large events.
ï• Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new MICE and corporate sales opportunities, increasing
the hotel's market share in the corporate and event sector.
o Foster relationships with key decision-makers, including corporate executives,
event planners, PCOs (Professional Conference Organizers), and agencies.
o Develop partnerships with event management companies, travel agents, and
third-party vendors to expand business opportunities.
ï• Event Coordination & Client Management:
o Work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and tailor
offerings that align with their expectations (venue selection, catering,
accommodation, etc.).
o Act as the primary point of contact for all MICE and corporate bookings, from
the initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
o Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events,
ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
ï• Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
o
Regularly analyze market trends, competitorsâ offerings, and the evolving
needs of MICE clients to maintain a competitive edge.
o Continuously identify new opportunities for MICE business and corporate
sales.
ï• Brand Ambassadorship:
o Represent the hotel/resort at industry events, trade shows, and corporate
functions to expand brand awareness and attract new clients.
o Cultivate strong relationships with industry partners and influencers to
increase visibility in the MICE market.
Qualifications:
ï•
Bachelorâs degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
ï• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in corporate and MICE sales within the
hospitality industry.
ï• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in corporate and event sales.
ï• Strong networking skills and established relationships within the MICE industry.
ï• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
ï• Proficiency with hotel sales software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
