Job Overview:
The Branding Head is responsible for the development, execution, and continuous evolution of the company's brand strategy. This role will lead and inspire the branding team to enhance brand awareness, strengthen market positioning, and drive consumer engagement across all platforms. You will work closely with other departments such as marketing, product, and communications to ensure brand consistency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Development:
- Define and implement the long-term brand strategy, vision, and positioning.
- Develop strategies that align with business goals and target audience preferences.
- Establish and maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all touch points.
Brand Positioning & Identity:
- Oversee the creation and evolution of the brand's visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging.
- Ensure the brand's voice and positioning resonate with the target audience.
- Ensure the brand's identity is consistently represented across all channels.
Market Research & Consumer Insights:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Utilize data and insights to inform brand decisions and strategies.
- Regularly assess the brand's performance in the market and adapt strategies accordingly.
Campaign Planning & Execution:
- Lead the development of brand campaigns that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Manage the execution of brand campaigns across various media platforms (digital, print, TV, etc.).
- Measure the success of brand campaigns and adjust strategies based on results.
Brand Communication:
- Act as the key spokesperson for the brand, both internally and externally.
- Ensure all brand communications are aligned with the company's overall vision and messaging.
- Work with PR teams to manage the brand's public image and reputation.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate brand strategy, progress, and results to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, partners, and stakeholders involved in branding projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in brand management or marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of brand strategy, design principles, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative thinking with a data-driven approach.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, and emerging technologies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Brand awareness and growth metrics.
- Engagement rates across digital and traditional media.
- Successful launch and performance of brand campaigns.
- Customer perception and sentiment metrics.
- Consistency in brand representation across all channels.
